📣 Exciting Update! 📣

We wanted to share some big news! We are in the process of changing our name from:
West Lincoln Co-op Nursery School to
West Lincoln Community Nursery School!

This upcoming change reflects who we are becoming: a growing, welcoming, community-focused space where children can play, learn, and grow. 💚

Although the name change is not yet official, we’re beginning some light rebranding so families know what’s coming.

We are CLOSED today. Stay safe!

FEBRUARY 13: All student transportation is CANCELLED today. All DSBN schools are OPEN.

If you choose to keep your child(ren) home, please report their absence using Safe Arrival. It is always a parent/guardian's decision to send your child(ren) to school.

WLCNS is closed today as all DSBN schools are closed. Stay safe!

All DSBN Schools are CLOSED today due to freezing rain.

Although the forecast may improve throughout the day, this decision was made out of an abundance of caution for keeping our school communities and staff safe.

ELEMENTARY: Learning options are available on👇www.dsbn.org

SECONDARY: students are encouraged to use the time, and their D2L/Google Classroom platforms, to review classroom notes, lessons, and/or complete outstanding projects or assignments

We have been teaching the class about dinosaurs the past couple of weeks and they loved it!!! Hamilton will have jurassic quest event December 1st. It is quite the experience for dinosaur lovers.

I just want to make a shout out to
Penny Phillips
Sarah Edgcumbe
Christine Penner-Prest

You three make such a difference in our children's lives. This video is from Christine Smith. Our wall at home filled with a lot of the art work and activities they do at preschool. Ryker loves telling his big brother and family about all his work. Especially his ghost feet.

Theses ladies make our children feel so special and impact their days in such a positive way.
