There’s nothing quite like getting back in the saddle—especially when it’s been a few decades!
Debbie came for a ride on Tes to brush up on her basic riding skills before heading off on a weekend riding adventure with a girlfriend.
She hadn’t ridden since she was a child, but that certainly didn’t stop her from giving it a try! We worked through the fundamentals, built some confidence, and had a little fun along the way.
It’s never too late to reconnect with something you loved as a kid. 💕
Heading out on a riding adventure of your own? A session on Tes can be a great way to refresh your skills and confidence before you go!

There’s something pretty special about sharing a love of horses across generations. ❤️🐴
I had so much fun working with a grandmother and her granddaughter, who each came for their own session on Tes.
One is right at the beginning of her riding journey, learning and discovering all the wonderful things that come with becoming a rider. The other is proof that there’s no expiry date on riding! 😉
Age doesn’t have to be a limiting factor when it comes to riding. There is always something new to learn, refine and enjoy—whether you’re taking your very first steps in the saddle or continuing a lifelong passion.
What a joy to watch two generations learn, laugh and ride together!

Beatrice joined me for her very first session on Tes, and what a great start to her journey. Together, we explored how finding balance within the body isn't about becoming rigid—it's about creating the right combination of mobility and stability so your position can support you, not fight against you.
Small adjustments can make a big difference, and it's always amazing to see what can change in just one session.
👉 Swipe to see Beatrice's before and after photos and the difference a better-balanced position can make!
Ready to discover what your own body is capable of in the saddle? Book your session today and let's uncover your next "onion layer" together.

There is something so rewarding about welcoming returning riders back to Tes and seeing just how much they have progressed.
This weekend, three young women came together for their next simulator sessions, each with completely different goals. Because every rider is unique, we tailored each session to meet their individual needs—whether that meant refining biomechanics, improving balance and stability, or building confidence. As always, each rider left with personalized homework to continue their progress between sessions.
Watching them build on what they learned previously and uncover their next "layer of the onion" is one of my favourite parts of coaching. Small, consistent changes lead to big improvements in the saddle.
Ready to discover what your next layer is? Book your own simulator session and let's work towards your riding goals together!

🐴 From supporting a great cause to supporting her own riding! 🐴
Kim successfully bid on a voucher for a ride on Tes at the annual gala for our local therapeutic riding program. The voucher was donated to help raise much-needed funds for this wonderful organization — so it was extra special to welcome Kim to the simulator!
During her session, we focused on the importance of pelvic position and how something as simple as our breath can influence what happens in the pelvis and through the rest of our position in the saddle.
By becoming more aware of how she was breathing, Kim could start to explore how small changes in her body created changes in her balance, stability and connection with the saddle.
It was a great session of learning, feeling and discovering — and I love that a winning bid turned into an opportunity to learn more about her own riding! 💚
Want to discover what your position is telling you? Book your session on Tes and start exploring your own movement, balance and feel in the saddle.

A last-minute opportunity has opened up!
I now have one appointment available this Friday at 10:00 AM on Tes, my equine simulator.
Whether you're looking to improve your position, build confidence, refine your aids, or simply spend some focused time on your riding without the pressure of being on a horse, this session is for you. Every ride is tailored to your individual goals, and you'll leave with practical exercises to continue your progress both on and off the horse.
Interested? Send me a message to claim this spot before it's gone!
