We always knew our Grade 8 & 9 classes were resilient—and last week they proved it with a fantastic trip into Silverking Basin, complete with plenty of snow. It didn't slow them down, though. They spent two nights up there and explored up into Highland Pass. Way to go! Thank you to the parents and staff who accompanied. If BVCS had a Hot Tub (we don't), you'd deserve to the be the first ones in it.

Soups, salads and squares! …and more than enough for 350+ people! Today's Harvest Lunch filled the gym with delicious food all grown right here in the BVCS garden. Special thanks to Mrs. Grasmeyer for organizing the produce and volunteers into an incredible and delicious meal (as well as watering and weeding the garden throughout the summer). Also thanks to the many volunteers who cooked, chopped and served for today's event.
