🌿 Outdoor Learning Spotlight! 🌿

On Friday, Mr. Docherty's Grade 5 students headed out on an exciting adventure to Cedar Bay. With only 5 pipe cleaners and whatever natural materials they could find along the way, Alex challenged them to work together to design and build their own boats/rafts.

The creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and enthusiasm we saw throughout the day was incredible! It was wonderful to watch students explore, experiment, and enjoy learning outdoors together 🤝

The group is already looking forward to their next outdoor learning adventure ☀️

The warm weather has helped our newest critters hatch this week at Sacred Heart School! Students in kindergarten, primary, and junior have been tracking the growth and development of caterpillars in their classrooms 😍🦋
