Today we had a wild morning in our summer camp program as we had a visit from our friends at Jungle Jamz' Travelling Reptile Show. The kids were thrilled to meet and interact with the reptiles, and many faced their fears and were happy to interact with them.
The educators and our directors even had a great time getting up close to the reptiles!

We have celebration vibes happening at our centre tonight as we prepare to celebrate our class of 2026!

This morning we greeted our families with coffee, tea and treats made by the children in honour of Mother’s Day. Happy Mother’s Day!

Our educators are always looking into ways to enhance their practice and expand their knowledge. Today, some of our educators made the trip to Orangeville to visit The Sunflower School and learn about ways they can incorporate some Reggio Emilia practices into their classrooms. We can’t wait to see what they bring back with them!

This week we celebrated "Pay It Forward Day" by enlisting the help of our families and gathering snacks and toiletries for Church Out Serving's overnight shelter. Today we were excited to give the donations that we collected. A huge thank you to all of our families who donated! The children were very happy to see how impactful their acts of kindness can be.

Our Director, Miss Savannah, loves science! The Kinder Sprouts invited her into their classroom this morning to do some science experiments with them. Miss Savannah talked to them about being safe scientists, taught them the word "Hypothesis" and they made a lava lamp, dancing raisins, used fire to get an egg to go inside a bottle, are dissolving an egg shell with vinegar, and made elephant toothpaste! Everyone loved being a scientist today!

Today the children participated in caring for our earth by dawning gloves and doing some litter clean up around the nearby green space and our garden in honour of Earth Day. The children spent a lot of time outside today enjoying the blessings of the warm sun, breeze, and giving thanks for all that God has created for us on Earth.
