🍎 Apple Pie Tree Story Day! 🍏

Today we’re diving into The Apple Pie Tree with a full day of apple-themed fun! From storytelling to sensory play, everything ties back to this sweet and simple theme:
• Storytime: The Apple Pie Tree – exploring the seasons of an apple tree and the journey from blossom to pie!
• Apple Weaving Craft: Fine motor fun as we create our own colourful woven apples.
• Apple Pie Relay Race: Burn off some energy with a silly, pie-themed relay game.
• Apple Pie Tag: A playful twist on tag with baking-inspired teamwork!
• Play-Doh Pie Making: Creative sensory play as little hands “bake” their own pretend pies.

A deliciously fun way to celebrate apples and the joy of imaginative play! 🍎🥧✨

Sunshine Fit Kids is looking for a new teacher to join Our Team!

Job Posting: Early Childcare Educator & Provider at Sunshine Fit Kids Preschool & Daycare

Hours: Flexible; must be available 7:30-4:30pm, summers, Fall Break and Spring Break.
Salary: $19-$21 depending on level and experience. Includes Government wage top up of $2.65-$8.65/hour depending on level.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Childcare Provider who is passionate about working with young children. The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 1 certification, First Aid, current PRC, their own transportation, and the flexibility to work 7:30-4:30PM when needed. This role requires an outgoing personality, as building relationships with children and their families is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Facilitate and participate in daily fitness activities in our on-site fitness studio.
- Create a warm and welcoming environment that encourages social and emotional development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create an enriching and supportive atmosphere.
- Work as a leader to help develop and enhance our childcare program
