During ABJ's recent Professional Development Day, staff spent time engaging in meaningful experiences centered on Truth and Reconciliation at Kinsmen Park! 🧡Guided by open hearts and open minds, our team participated in three reflective learning stations throughout the day:
✨ Smudge & Land Connection where staff gathered with Knowledge Keeper together Eva Stang to practice stillness, and connect with deep listening.
🎨 Artist Connie Kulhavy supported staff exploration of reconciliation through reflection on our personal and professional journeys—translating our thoughts into dot art tiles.
🚶‍♀️ Indigenous Art Walk where staff exploried Queen Elizabeth Park and reflected on Indigenous culture, history, and storytelling.
A special thank you to Eva Stang and Connie Kulhavy for sharing their knowledge and guidance with us. Together, we remain committed to listening, learning, and walking forward in Truth and Reconciliation every day.

Ethan Kleinschroth competed at Golf Provincials and performed well in finishing 54th out of 147 golfers from around the province!

Our grade nine golf team had a strong showing in the EIAA tournament. Jarett Andries finished 1st in the boys singles tournament!
