Walking Together: Truth & Reconciliation
Learning Canada’s true history means listening with open hearts to the voices and experiences of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples. As we continue our journey of Reconciliation, we are learning how to listen, understand, and care for one another, just as Jesus calls us to do. Over the past few days, we took time to learn, reflect, ask questions, and grow in kindness, understanding, and respect.

Today was Harvest Day! Mrs. Dubuc and her Garden Club planted in the spring, cared for it all summer and now harvested in the fall. The excitement over finding a potato and pulling out a big carrot make a joyful noise! Even Superintendent Mr. Corrigan joined in the harvest again this year!

St. Nick’s 2026 Terry Fox Run. In this beautiful sunshine and with perseverance in our hearts, we ran like Terry! How wonderful it was to have so many family members join us too.

Ukrainian Canadian Heritage Day is this Monday, September 7th. 🇨🇦🇺🇦 This day honours the arrival of Canada’s first official Ukrainian immigrants, Ivan Pylypow and Wasyl Eleniak, who landed 135 years ago on September 7, 1891. Since then, Ukrainian Canadians have made incredible contributions to our history, vibrant culture, and communities.

To mark this special occasion, students are encouraged to wear blue and/or yellow or a vyshyvanka on Tuesday, September 8th! Let’s show our school spirit and celebrate Ukrainian culture together. 💙💛
