This lovely charcuterie board was made using a cookie ๐ช or slice of a fir tree giving it a 360 degree live edge and a unique shape.
I am very proud to say this piece along with 2 sets of ocean coasters made their way around the world ๐ to their final destination in New Zealand! ๐ณ๐ฟ

I was hired by a special client to make this cute little serving tray as a Christmas gift. The custom size and image were specifically designed to perfectly fit the recipientโs home. I fell in love with the image myself as it reminded me of all the beautiful scenery we have right here in Canada ๐จ๐ฆ โฐ๏ธ๐๐ฒ

I recently had the pleasure of making this beautiful live edge cedar charcuterie board as a custom wedding gift. The ocean epoxy on this one of a kind board was made to represent the location where the lovely couple tied the knot. Their wedding date was also burned into the cedar forever marking the special occasion for the happy couple.

Meet the Maker (Part 2)
Something most people donโt know about me is that I personally play a big part in the entire process of charcuterie board or coaster production from start to finish. With the help of family and friends I source the tree and cut it down, mill it or rough cut it into smaller pieces using chainsaws and then transport it to my small garage shop where I transform it into beautiful pieces for your homes!

Meet the Maker (Part 1)
For those of you who do not know the face behind this little one person business I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Suzanne Hubscher and I am a self-taught lover of woodworking! Itโs always been a passion of mine but it wasnโt until 2021 that I would have the courage to follow my dreams and nurture my creative side.

Iโm happy to say that this week I finished one of my largest orders to date! Six serving trays measuring 16โ x 20โ. Each one is completely customized to represent the family it is being given to. What a lovely gift idea!

Many people are interested in a custom charcuterie board but donโt want a big picture, pattern, or saying all over it. Customizing a board with a name makes it personalized while keeping it classy!
For this live edge charcuterie board I engraved and epoxy filled the lettering and routered handles into each end.
