This is what child-led outdoor play looks like!

Activities are created by curiosity and imagination. Our playground has trees to climb, logs to balance on and fields to run in.

In our nature programs, kids ages 3 to 6 learn to experience nature in all seasons. Spending time outside and having fun with friends helps them connect with nature and let their imaginations soar.

All kids need big spaces to explore, play, learn and grow.
BGC's nature programs gives them a place to belong, where they can do all those things and more.

With a week of programming under our belt for this season, we are so grateful to be a part of these kids' discoveries.

A nature walk can transform the forest into an interactive classroom where young children thrive!

🐞Kids start thinking about science and math! Ladybugs are biology, leaning logs are physics and counting pinecones is math.

🍃Unstructured play calms the mind and body while building imagination

🩵 Walking in a group allows for natural social development

🐦‍⬛ Describing things in nature, like sights, textures and sounds, expands vocabulary

We'd love your little one to join us on a walk in the woods!
