We love watching littles explore nature and plants, especially with binoculars and magnifying glasses! 🔎

It's fun for them, but it also supports healthy early childhood development. Kids learn how to focus, be patient and stay curious.

When we teach about plants and natural ecosystems, they get an early intro to science, and it fosters empathy for the natural world. 🍃

Nature is calling! 🐞

ReWild and Forest Friends both offer opportunities for young children to explore nature through child-led outdoor play.

Whether it's observing insects in the grass, creating nature-inspired art, or embarking on imaginative outdoor storytelling, every day is an opportunity to learn something new and grow.

Programs run September - June, with several schedules available.

Register while there is space!

Kids love building tarp forts, and they're practical, too!

We use them to teach teamwork, perserverance, and problem solving. And they sure are great for imaginative play.

Then we can use them as a shelter on rainy days for a picnic lunch!

During the Spooky Season, we have a lot of exploratory play with pumpkins.

We use hand tools and pegs to learn how to hammer (fine motor skills, problem-solving), smash them (just for fun), and make fun Jack-o-Lanterns. 🎃

Every fall, we use sunflowers as a learning tool. We introduce life cycles, kids discover different parts of the plant, read about sunflowers and weave these unique flowers into daily play.

In our nature programs, kids love to learn from nature 🌲🌻

Why do kids love climbing trees? 🌲

Kids love climbing trees because it is an adventure!

It provides thrilling challenges that build confidence, exercises large muscle groups to improve coordination, and gives them a unique bird’s-eye perspective of their surroundings.

Let your littles climb trees with us this fall. Learn more about our nature programs at scbgc.com.
