💛 HAPPY NATIONAL COACHES DAY! 💛

Today, October 6th, we’re giving a HUGE shoutout to the incredible teachers, coaches and staff who make Dancefusion Academy of Dance so special! 🩰✨

Our dance teachers are so much more than instructors. They are mentors, motivators, choreographers, role models, cheerleaders and sometimes the person who gives that little extra push when a dancer needs it most.

Thank you to our amazing DFAD staff for the countless hours you spend teaching, creating, encouraging and believing in our dancers. From the tiniest dancers taking their first steps into the studio to our senior dancers stepping onto the stage, your impact goes far beyond dance. ❤️

We appreciate the passion, patience and heart you bring into the studio every single day.

Here’s to our incredible DFAD teaching team — we couldn’t do it without you! 🖤💛

🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation | September 30 🧡

At Dancefusion Academy of Dance, we believe our studio is not only a place to dance, but also a place to learn, listen, reflect and grow together.

We are grateful to live, learn and dance on Treaty 6 Territory, the traditional lands and gathering places of many Indigenous Peoples, including the Nehiyaw (Cree), Dene, Blackfoot and Métis.

Classes will continue as scheduled on September 30th. Throughout the evening, our dancers will participate in small, age-appropriate activities and moments of reflection focused on kindness, understanding, respect and reconciliation.

We recognize that reconciliation is an ongoing journey, and even small opportunities to learn and have meaningful conversations with our young people can make a difference.

Today, we honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families and their communities. 🧡

Every Child Matters.
