Let us introduce our new Student Council!

If your child has ideas to contribute, please encourage them to talk to a student council rep.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

To all Current and Future Pipers, come and check out all the amazing opportunities Alexander Galt has at this years Open House. It is this Thursday Sept 24th from 5PM to 8PM

Allow the staff and students of Galt welcome you to the halls of our school, where you will have the opportunity to explore the future that awaits, in education, in arts, in sports and in personal growth. See the clubs you can partake in, trips you can go on, sports teams you can play for and so much more.

Galt is an amazing school that allows kids to find themselves, become themselves educationally and personally.

We look forward to meeting each and everyone one of you, and are excited to work with you in the future.

See you Thursday!

Terry Fox Run

As you may have heard, the Terry Fox Run is quickly approaching. We have been practicing for the run during Phys. Ed. class and the kids are ready! This event will be held this Thursday, September 24th 2026! The Terry Fox run is done by schools all over Canada as a fundraiser to collect money for Cancer research. We have been discussing this with all of the classes over the last few days and we don’t require that every child bring in money, but we are hoping that we can collect at least one dollar per student and as a school, raise a minimum of 500$. If you are comfortable donating any amount of money, your child can bring their donation to their homeroom teacher or donate directly on the Terry Fox foundation site. Here is the link: ecoles.terryfox.ca/SherbrookeElementary.

You can bring your donations right up until race day on Thursday, September 24th.

Also, we would like it if the students could wear red and/or white on the day of the event!!!

Thank you for your collaboration on this school event.
