CALL FOR DONATIONS | The ArtLab team is getting ready to welcome children for the March Break Art Camp! As we do every year, we are calling on you to collect materials that will be creatively reused for art projects throughout the camp, as well as for the ArtLab's general needs. Your valuable assistance will enable us to offer many stimulating and eco-friendly art activities!
If you have these materials and would like to contribute to our mission, we invite you to drop them off in the dedicated cart, which will be located outside the ArtLab door until Tuesday, February 17. Please do not bring any items other than those on this list. Our small team does not have the capacity to sort and recirculate donations other than those we need. We're very grateful for your support! Thank you so much for contributing to our mission!

Bishop's University Fine Arts Departments is hosting a lecture by Alexandre Bonton, professor in the technical department for water and environment at Cégep de Saint-Laurent, who is intensively involved in Japanese papermaking and toolmaking. He uses locally sourced materials – wood, grasses and bast fibres such as silk plants or miscanthus – to manufacture the tools required for traditional Japanese-style papermaking.
Friday, October 3, 2025, 6 pm to 7:30 pm, Molson 110, Bishop's University
The conference is free and open to the public.
