Due to circumstances outside our control the photos from graduation and prom night, will not be available until after August 17. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Are you in Sec 4 and/or 5, or of Sec 4/5 age? Do you want to play Senior girls Flag Football in the upcoming year? We are starting practices early this year! One practice will be on Monday August 24th and one on Wednesday August 26th. Both from 4PM to 6PM on the school practice field.

Our objective is clear, to create highly competitive, high performance, and motivated teams while having as much fun as possible doing so going after the championship!

You must attend at least one of the two camps to be eligible for selection. Are you available for both? Even better!

Coaches can not guarantee a spot on the roster if you do not come to one of the days.

It is for all girls in Sec 4 and 5 in the upcoming year. If you have experience, great, you do not have experience, that is great too, all are welcome!

Required equipment - Gym gear with no pockets. Cleats and a mouthguard.

📢 Construction Holiday Notice

Please note that all staff at Alexander Galt RHS will be out of the office during the construction holidays, from July 19 to August 1, 2026.
Our offices will reopen on Monday, August 3, 2026.
If you need to pay school fees:
Before July 17: Please see Ms. Guilbault in the Central Office.
Starting August 3: Payments can be made with Ms. George.

A reminder to students and parents. With official marks for MEES mandated courses expected out tomorrow, you should check to see if you were successful or not in the Sec 4 and 5 courses required for graduation.

If not, both summer school through LEARN and retake exams through the board are being offered.

As well, if you were unsuccessful in other courses in Sec 1, 2 and 3 summer school through LEARN. Keep in mind of the government requirement to move on to the next level in a subject upon successful completion in Cycle 2.

Piper Classic Update: Jean Guy Roy came in with a last minute donation to bring our record breaking total to $57, 110! This will be our final athletic post until August so stay active and enjoy the summer!

To all students, alumni, support staff, administration, professionals, friends and anyone who helps make Alexander Galt great.

Have a most excellent summer vacation. Whether its relaxing at home, in the pool, on a cruise, seeing the world overseas, or just chilling with friends. Enjoy every minute of it!

What a great night last night celebrating all of our incredible Piper graduates. Starting off with the traiditional entrances that our gradutes love so much, we were awed as they arrived via cars, trucks, limos, horses, tractors a U-Haul and even an Ice Cream truck.

Then to our ceremony. Those that were there in person loved the ceremony and hopefully many of you enjoyed our live stream and were able to celebrate with us all at home.

Each and everyone of those graduated looked amazing as they walked across the stage last night, and each and everyone deserved all the honour and applause and recognition they got in recognition of their accomplishments.

Afterwards, it was to the Prom at the Gait, where kids were dancing up a storm, singing and having a great time with friends.

Then, it was through the doors one last time as Pipers and off to the future as new alumni.

Each and everyone of them has left a mark and a legacy to all they knew and worked with at Alexander Galt, and they will all be missed.

To make the night special, we want to thank all the teachers, admin and volunteers behind the scenes to make things go so smoothly. As well, Special thanks to Bishop's University, for allowing us to use their spaces to hold such an incredible event. Photo SM, who were taking pictures all night and we will be sharing on Facebook for free download once we get them, and Cinéma Coaticook for allowing us to use some of their decorations to help celebrate the night.

The 16th Piper Classic Golf Tournament - in honour of John Haller scores big for their student athletes by raising $56, 660.09 and smashes it previous record! Amazing what can happen when alumni, community and local businesses come together.
Thank you to the 149 golfers that attended and to every person and business that made financial contributions and donated gifts.

Alexander Galt would like to acknowledge the passing of Whitman Haines, 1937-2026 and send our condolences to his family.

He worked for Galt from 1969-1972, and was involved in the structuring/opening of the school.

He always spoke very highly of Galt.
