This Thursday, Bishop’s NMUN delegation will be hosting a photo booth outside of Mitchell Gym for fans of the Women’s and Men’s basketball teams. Before or after watching our Gaiters take it to the UQAM Citadins, come check out our Polaroid Photo Booth and snap a few quick pictures!!

The Polaroids will be sold at 1 for $2, and 3 for $5. We accept cash a dm e-transfer, and the booth will be as festive as possible🥳

Delegates in action at QMUN📸

Thank you to for this incredible photography and capturing all of the action in our final simulation before NMUN in April. This was a great experience for the delegates to apply the skills they’ve been developing all year in collaboration with schools all across Quebec.

Introducing our 2023 delegates🤩
Last but certainly not least, we have Christine Lépine and Victoria Perak who will be representing the Islamic Republic of Iran on the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees this April.

The UNCHR is dedicated to saving lives, protecting lives, and building a better future for refugees, forcibly displaced communities, and stateless people. At NMUN, the committee will be addressing the topics of:
- Protecting Refugees from Human Trafficking
- Preventing the Increase of Internally Displaced Persons

Christine will also be representing Iran at QMUN on February 4th, alongside Gabrielle!

Next, we have Rene Zeevat and Valentin André who will be representing the Islamic Republic of Iran on the United Nations Environmental Assembly this April.

The UNEA was created in 2012, and meets to set priorities for global environmental policies and develop international environmental law. At NMUN, the committee will be addressing the topics of:
- Strengthening Action to Achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14
- Addressing Climate Fragility Risks

Valentin will also be representing Saint Kitts and Nevis at QMUN on February 4th, alongside Regan!

Next, we have Regan Simpson who will be representing the Islamic Republic of Iran on the United Nations Development Programme this April.

The UNDP is the lead UN agency on international development. At NMUN, the committee will be addressing the topics of:
- Investing in Safe Migration Pathways
- Climate Change Adaptation

Regan will also be representing Saint Kitts and Nevis at QMUN on February 4th, alongside Valentin!

Next, we have Gabrielle Liu who will be representing the Islamic Republic of Iran on the International Atomic Energy Agency this April.

GA3 deals with works for the safe, secure, and peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology. At NMUN, the committee will be addressing the topics of:
- Nuclear Waste Management
- Strengthening Safeguards for the World’s Nuclear Facilities

Gabrielle will also be representing Finland at QMUN on February 4th, alongside Christine!

Next, we have Alex Pountcheva and Théo Lemarchandel who will be representing the Islamic Republic of Iran on the General Assembly Third Committee this April.

GA3 deals with works on social, humanitarian, and cultural issues. At NMUN, the committee will be addressing the topics of:
- Healthy Ageing and Age-Friendly Sustainable Development
- Safeguarding Human Rights of Persons Displaced by Climate Change

Alex and Théo will also be representing Iran at QMUN on February 4th!

Introducing our 2023 delegates🤩 First up, we have Mikael Worku and Victor Vergnol, who will be representing the Islamic Republic of Iran on the General Assembly First Committee this April.

GA1 deals with all disarmament and international security matters within the scope of the Charter.
At NMUN, the committee will be addressing the topics of:
- Youth for Disarmament, Non-Proliferation, and Peace
- Addressing the illicit Supply of Weapons to Non-State Actors.

Mickey and Victor will also be representing Iran at QMUN on February 4th!
