We offer both full-time & part-time home daycare, as well as before & after school care, servicing Hyland Heights Public School. Our home daycare emphasizes learning and play through outdoor exploration. We love venturing out on a daily basis to experience nature and explore local green spaces, trails and parks. When at home, the kids enjoy outdoor play in our front and backyard, as well as out on
the deck. Indoor play includes games, educational toys, reading, crafting, dress-up, music, dance parties, free play and celebrating birthdays and holidays. Our daycare program is loosely structured and is based around the interests of the children. Healthy breakfasts, lunches & snacks are provided daily. Hot lunches are provided on a regular basis. Your children will find comfort in the nurturing home environment provided by Neighbourhood Kids, a home away from home. Typical daily schedule:
Open, 6am
Breakfast (included if arriving prior to 7:30am)
Free play
School drop-off, 8:30-8:50am
Morning snack (provided), 9:30am
Outdoor play (indoor play/alternate indoor activities if inclement weather), 9:45-11:45am
Lunch (provided), 12pm
Nap/quiet play, 12:30-2:30pm
School pick-up, 3-3:15pm
Snack (provided), 3:30pm
Outdoor play, 3:30-4:50/5pm
Free play until Closed at 5:30pm
