Pontiac High Panthers Girls Basketball Tryouts:

Calling all girls in Grades 7–11! Come out and be part of Panthers Basketball this season.
Our goal is to field both a Junior and Senior girls team, and we encourage all interested players to attend tryouts.

Sign-up sheets will be posted outside room 121 upon your return.

Our last Panther Spotlight for the 2025/26 school year: Julia & McKenna 🐾

This past year, Julia and McKenna have truly flourished as leaders at Pontiac High School. Whether they were coordinating school events, building meaningful connections with our local elementary schools and daycare partners, organizing internal sports, or stepping up wherever they were needed, they consistently led with dedication and heart.

What makes their leadership so special is that it happens both in front of the crowd and behind the scenes. They quietly invest countless hours to make our school community stronger, always putting others first and never seeking recognition.

Julia and McKenna embody what it means to be servant leaders—leading through action, kindness, and a genuine commitment to those around them. While they never expect acknowledgment, their impact has been felt throughout our school, and they have certainly earned this spotlight.

Thank you, Julia and McKenna, for your passion, selflessness, and the positive example you set every day. Pontiac High School is a better place because of you.

At Pontiac Welding, it’s not just sparks and steel—visual arts play a huge role in our program! From designing creative projects to adding personal flair to metalwork, our students are learning that welding is as much about imagination as it is about technique.

Every cut, bend, and weld is a brushstroke in their own metal masterpiece! 🛠️🎨

🎓 The Class of 2026 has officially completed the longest group project of their lives and they passed with flying colours! 🎓

From first-day jitters to final exams, from packed hallways to unforgettable memories, this graduating class has grown, adapted, and accomplished something truly remarkable.

We celebrate not just a diploma, but the determination, resilience, and character that made it possible. The tassels have turned, the caps have flown, and a brand-new chapter begins.

🎳 Strike! Spare! Smiles everywhere! 🎳

On Wednesday, the Apartment students from PHS headed to Aylmer for an exciting bowling trip, and what a day it was!

The lanes were filled with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of impressive bowling skills. Every frame was a battle to come out on top, with students cheering each other on and celebrating every strike and spare along the way.

Most importantly, lots of fun was had by everyone, and memories were made that will last long after the final pin fell!

A huge thank you to Debra, Shauna, Heather, McKenna, and Cody for helping make this trip possible. Your support, enthusiasm, and dedication helped create a fantastic experience for our students. We couldn't have done it without you! 🎉👏
