Throughout this school year the K.P. Manson community has walked together on their learning journey with Indigenous Education and the Authentic Voices who represent and honour these teachings. K.P. has spent the year learning about the Seven Sacred Grandfather teachings as well as creating Land Acknowledgements. As a culmination to this year’s learning, a pollinator garden was created as a living Land Acknowledgement. Special thanks to Laura Thomas from Hidden Habitat and Karen Tolton from Tolton Ranch, we have a new garden that will provide space for all creatures large and small to live and grow, as well as a learning space for our students. Extra special shout out to our amazing custodian Mr. MacFarlane for helping with the creation and care of our new space. Trillium Lakelands DSB

At our year end assembly we celebrated our SK and Grade 8 graduates. We honour 4 students who achieved perfect attendance this year. We thanked our student volunteers for their work around the school. We paid tribute to Mrs. Tingey who was recognized for her 35 years of service with TLDSB. Trillium Lakelands DSB
