Pretty tough to get a permit for a dock when the tide goes out this far..... but not impossible.

Fact of the matter is that everyone has the rights to the foreshore. The foreshore/intertidal zone is considered aquatic Crown Land which owners of waterfront properties are prohibited from blocking public access. As long as you're below the high tide line you are on land accessible to all of us.

Provincial approvals for huge private moorage docks for boats this size are possible believe it or not. That's a 28' landing craft boat beside the sailboat!

Well this Powell River marina's docks might need a bit of TLC but their commercial moorage Crown Land lease is in good standing.
