We currently hold classes Tuesday and Thursday at 4:00 pm PST. We are already filling up our fall rosters so we may introduce a Wednesday class thus fall too!
We have students from British Columbia, Ontario, California, Texas, Alberta, Pennsylvania, Washington State and Nairobi!! It is so exciting to hear the experiences of these kids and learn so much about each other and ourselves!!!

My students continue to blow my mind. Last year Keanna struggled with approaching and talking to strangers so I had her do it over and over until that fear was banished. This New Year's she went to the DTES to give out $500 worth of hot meal tokens from money she raised herself. SO proud of this girl's heart! She was on Global News too but because Facebook sucks I can't show you.

I don't normally post things like this here but this woman was a good friend long before she was a client. I taught her daughter at Head Start and it was a joy. Krystin is truly an extraordinary woman and I want her to get as much help as possible. Thank you for your consideration.

Public speaking for kids classes start next week! Tuesday is almost full but Thursday still has some spots!
Head Start Public Speaking for Kids is all about YOU. Figuring out who you are, what’s important to you and knowing that you have the ability and the right to take up space in this world and speak your truth. To ask for the things you want and need in your life. Your voice matters and there is no one in the world who has the exact same perspective as you!
It sometimes feels uncomfortable coming into a space where people already know each other but it’s important to know that new people always shake things up in a good way. 😊 New perspectives are super valuable – all we ask is that everyone treats each other with respect. That means listening when someone else is speaking, not just being quiet, but actually hearing what they have to say. This is really the best way to learn anything!
Classes start next Tuesday at 4:00 pm PST or Thursday at 4:00 pm PST. The Tuesday class is almost full and priority is given to returning students. We still have space on Thursdays and both classes are identical except for the people in them. Sometimes a student can’t make their class and they are welcome to join the other one to make it up – it’s always interesting to see how different and similar they are.
Head Start has helped hundreds of kids discover just how much they are capable of and how awesome they are. I would love to help your kid do the same.
