Our small but mighty cross country team had a great season! Here’s a snap of some of them from a race a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for coaching, Mr. Stott!

Story time with Ms. Cowan

Today I went through about 50 items in our Lost & Found.

Do you know how many had names on them? THREE. 😳

The good news? Those three items were returned to their rightful owners!

The less good news? We still have approximately 47 mystery items looking for their people.

A friendly reminder that every couple of months, our Lost & Found gets donated to charity. So if your child is missing a hoodie, coat, pants, water bottle, hat,…please have a look before it disappears into the great Lost & Found beyond.

Please, please, please label your kids’ clothes! It makes it SO much easier for us to get things back to their owners.

And good news: our PAC has a fundraiser for labels! 🙌

Head to the Mabel’s Labels site (link in the comments), search for West Sechelt Elementary, and order yourself some labels. Future-you will thank you!

🐋 Label it. Lose it. Find it. Return it. Repeat.

This Friday we will be running for Terry. Our Senior Classes (Divs. 1, 2, and 3) did a climb-a-thon a couple of weeks back. Soon we will announce how much money they raised for cancer research (it was a lot!). Please bring a toonie (or two) on Friday to contribute to our donation.

Shout out to these two amazing parent volunteers who brought immaculate vibes to the School Streets pilot project this week.

Events in schools are literally impossible to run without the support of families. Thank you, Tristan Woods and Kirsten Brackett!
