The Ancestors and Us
The life we have now rests on the back of everything that went before - the Ancestors. Do you think of the Ancestors as "gone"? For all intents and purposes, most of us certainly live as if it is so. There are consequences to that way of thinking!
Starting on March 31st, I will be hosting a five part weekly webinar which will explore the realm of the Ancestors and what it has to do with our lived reality.
We will address the following questions and more:
What do we mean when we refer to the Ancestors?
What is the relationship between the Ancestral Realm and present day reality?
What are the consequences of having ignored or lost touch with our own ancestors?
Can the Ancestors help us?
Can we help the Ancestors?
Are there dangers in connecting with our ancestors?
How can we reclaim a wholesome connection with our ancestors and, more broadly, the Ancestral realm?
Our inquiry will take the form of lecture, discussion, activities and direct exploration, shamanic journey style. The first session will provide an overview of the topic and some basic instructions for entering the shamanic state of consciousness. No prerequisite is required, only an open and curious mind.
The webinar will run weekly for March 31st to April 28th, Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 pm Atlantic daylight savings time.
Participants will be asked to be present on their device at each session, cameras on. This is important to the creation of a container in which good spiritual works can take place. It is also important
to situate yourself in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed.
You are asked to attend all sessions. Post- session recordings will only be available in exceptional circumstances.
Fee for all five sessions:$130

I usually get a few new things made for the season of giving but I guess it is going to have to wait until the new year. I have some lovely fish skins I can't wait to get to. I plan to make some offering pouches and medicine pouches from them. In the photo you will see the skins of bass, eel and halibut. They will look so nice back with some of my home tanned buckskin.
You will also see the only two things I have for sale; a cougar rattle and an offering pouch. Let me know if you would like to purchase a gift made from the Earth herself.
Otherwise, you could always give a gift certificate. January is a great crafting time for me.

Friends, my intention is to move away from this platform. First step is that I will not be posting any of my workshops or ritual gatherings here. After twenty seven years of holding spiritual gatherings here on the land, it is time for me to let go of the promotional aspect of things and rely on the community of people who have come here over the years. This is a bit of an experiment and we will see how it goes. Perhaps I will miss having this kind of platform. Perhaps I will backtrack, or move to another platform.
