This morning, we are excited to welcome students back and share with them that our gym got a significant upgrade this Summer.

New rubberized flooring - complete with our school's logo to encourage Cougar pride in sport - and an overhaul of our old gym equipment. We were able to purchase over $10,000 of new learning materials to start the 2026/27 school year.

PS - The Cougar Den also got new flooring and LED lighting adding to the school improvement that the SCPS Greenhouse has already started.

A special thanks to the Superior-Greenstone District School Board Facilities Team for committing to getting this done and our Secretary, Mrs. Wilson, for her ordering of all the equipment!

📚🎒 Welcome Back, Cougars! 🐾

The wait is almost over... the first day of school is tomorrow!

Our staff have been hard at work preparing classrooms, hallways, and learning spaces, and we are excited to welcome our students and families back to Schreiber Public School for another amazing year of learning, growth, and connection.

As we begin the 2026-2027 school year, we're pleased to share our staffing updates and a few important reminders:

✅ School begins TOMORROW - September 2, 2026
✅ Bell times remain 8:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
✅ Bussing information has been sent home
✅ Permission packages will be coming home this week

We extend a special welcome to new students, families, and staff joining our Cougar community this year. Together, we will learn, grow, and achieve great things.

Enjoy the last evening of summer vacation, get those backpacks ready, and we'll see everyone tomorrow morning!

The start of the 2026–2027 school year is quickly approaching, and we can’t wait to welcome our students, families, and staff back for another exciting year of learning, growth, connection, and fun!
