Dandyland Holsteins Dandyland Holsteins Dandyland is a family run operation. We milk 70 cows in a free stall operation. Sandy, Dennis, & Dan work on the farm full time.

Sandy and her husband Dennis, along with Dennis' brother, Dan, own and operate Dandyland Holsteins in Schomberg, Ontario just west of Newmarket in York Region. We believe strongly in the merits of cow comfort and longevity, and in 2001, started using sand bedding to keep our herd of 185 Holsteins content. We farm a total of 650 acres of owned and rented land, consisting of hay, corn, mix grain, ba

rley and wheat. Sandy & Dennis’ son, Devin, works as a Classifier for Holstein Canada, and daughter, Ashley has recently completed her second year of studies in agricultural science at the University of Guelph's Ontario Agricultural College. Both children are highly involved in the farm and help out whenever they can. Dan's sons, Leo and Wes are eagerly waiting to get involved with the show ring. Leo started his first year in 4-H last April and Wes keenly waits for his turn.
