Had a wonderful Fundraising PA Day with our TDSB students last Friday! We created slime, decorated Halloween haunted houses, blasted rockets, and enjoyed an informative workshop on technology and screen time conducted by Dr. Sayyeda from Armadale Specsavers. The kids were fully engaged, learning through hands-on activities and creative projects. It was a fantastic day of fun, learning, and community spirit, all while raising funds to support future educational initiatives at Zalik Academy! Zalik Academy Elementary & Tutoring

Along with fitness, we enjoyed an amazing nutritious meal sponsored by Habbiz Corner and Showtime Bistro, who jumped at the opportunity to support Mrs. Malik and her incredible students as part of the Zalik Warriors 2.0 event presented by . It means the world to us to connect with other franchisees and restaurant owners like ourselves who are passionate about giving back to the community, especially to children. Today, we worked on fractions in the Grade 7 math session. Our focus was on converting fractions to a common denominator to add them together, including multiple fractions. We practiced strategies for finding common denominators and explored real-life applications of adding fractions. Additionally, we learned how to convert mixed numbers and improper fractions for simplification and addition, using common factors. 🌟

For homework completion, we focused on practicing these concepts with assigned exercises that reinforce our understanding and application of adding fractions. 🧮

Zalik Warriors 2.0, presented by , had 20 incredible athletes join us on the basketball court today! We focused on essential skills, enhancing eye-hand coordination, agility, chest passing, bounce passing, and following directional commands. A highlight was our game of Heads, Shoulders, and Ball, where students followed Mrs. Malik’s instructions, and the first to grab the ball when she called it scored a point. Special thanks to .realestate for donating the balls that made this event possible! It was a fantastic session of skill development and teamwork! ✨

Hi Everyone!

We are currently looking to rent out two office spaces at my academy, Zalik Academy, to businesses related to children and families. This could include professionals such as an Occupational Therapist, Psychologist with a private practice, Photographer, High School Tutoring business, or similar services that cater to children or families.

Each room is available for $300/per room each month, and they can be rented separately or together. The spaces are located in Scarborough at 3015 Kennedy Road.

We love hosting our One-Day Camps, March Break Camps, and Summer Camps at Zalik Academy! Join us this Friday for a fun-filled day of academic enrichment, hands-on STEAM activities, and creative exploration designed to inspire your child’s curiosity and love for learning.

We love teaching students about business, and the ideas young entrepreneurs come up with are simply AMAZING! When I taught Entrepreneurship to my students, they were driven by creativity and innovation. One student designed a business creating a deck of Braille cards for children who are blind, another launched a cheese bun business, and yet another developed a picture frame company. These are just a few of the incredible ventures students brought to life under my leadership and guidance.

With the support of my husband, I designed her own business curriculum, empowering students with the tools to succeed. I taught them how to draft business plans, prepare bank loan documents, design floor plans, and much more! These were some of the remarkable outcomes.

Humanity First Canada holds a special place in the hearts of the Zalik Academy family. On its 20th anniversary, we honour our fathers, Amir Zahoor and Faseeh Malik, who have dedicated two decades to Humanity First in various roles both locally and internationally. Since childhood, Mr. Malik and Mrs. Malik have been involved in Humanity First projects, following in their parents’ footsteps and continuing a proud family tradition of multigenerational charity.

Today, we participated in a charity event celebrating Humanity First’s milestone in Vaughan, Ontario. We are proud to have raised an additional $200, which will directly support local food banks across the GTA, providing essential aid to those facing food insecurity. The event also featured activities and prizes for families and children, contributing to a charitable cause.

We are thrilled to have made wonderful new friends from Brampton, Vaughan, Innisfil, Windsor, and North York, and are grateful for the community’s generous support.
