Hello remember me ! 👋🏾🤍
Every time I apologize for my absence but truthfully, I only stop posting when I have so much going on.
I had midterms, Easter break, both my nephews birthdays, school, work and a full tutoring roaster.
As much as I want to keep you updated with my day to day interactions with all my amazing kiddos I have to also give myself grace.
That being said I love you all for sticking beside me. - I will continue to post when I can 👌🏾🤍

Between exam season and being under the weather content has been very hard lately …
With that being said here are some photos with no context from my camera roll over the last two weeks LOL. 😆
Happy st. Patty’s day and march break.🤍✨

As we end February and black history month I wanted to share why it’s so important. ✨
As a Black educator, I carry pride, responsibility, and purpose. I know that my presence alone matters. For some children, I may be the first Black teacher they’ve had. For others, I may be a mirror — someone who reflects their identity back to them with pride and possibility. Both roles are powerful.🤍
Black history in child care isn’t about a bulletin board or a themed week. It’s about creating inclusive spaces where every child feels valued, seen, and celebrated.
The celebration doesn’t end here. It continues in our classrooms, our curriculum, and our commitment to equity every day. 🖤

✨ Exciting Update! ✨
Hey parents! 👋
I’m so excited to share that the focus here is shifting a little. Along with our usual childcare tips and activity ideas, I’ll be adding more child development content — helping you better understand how your little ones grow, learn, and thrive 💕
You’ll also start to see a bit more personal content — behind-the-scenes moments, reflections, and real-life stories from my journey working with children every day. 🌱
I can’t wait to connect with you all on a deeper level and continue supporting your parenting journey — one post at a time 💛

Supporting Our Pr***ens’ Mental Health 💭
As children grow into their pr***en years, their emotions, friendships, and sense of self begin to change — sometimes faster than they can understand!
To help support this important stage of development, I’m introducing a Pr***en Mental Health Check-In Questionnaire 🧠💬
This short, child-friendly activity helps pr***ens:
✨ Reflect on their feelings and emotions
✨ Build self-awareness and coping skills
✨ Strengthen communication between children, parents, and caregivers
It’s not a test — just a gentle way to open conversations about how they’re feeling and make sure they feel seen, heard, and supported 💕
Because healthy emotional development is just as important as academics! 🌿
