As a proud member of Batchewana First Nation, Matthew Neveu found more than an education at Algoma University. He found a place where Indigenous perspectives, relationships, and real-world learning helped shape his path.

Now serving as Vice President, Indigenous Banking (Ontario) at BMO Bank of Montreal, he supports economic development and self-determination across communities. His work reflects both professional expertise and personal commitment.

His advice is simple. Stay curious. Seek mentorship. Trust that your path does not have to be linear to be meaningful.
