Excited to see all of our JK/SK students rollin’ in with their awesome cars for today’s car show and movie! 🚗🍿 We can’t wait to check out all the creative rides. Let the fun begin!

We're looking for your help!

To support outdoor and environmental learning opportunities for Grand View students next year, we are collecting donations of supplies and materials. New or gently used items are welcome.

Items needed include:
• Small garden shovels/trowels
• Vegetable and flower seeds
• Work gloves (assorted sizes)
• Safety glasses
• Hand pruners and loppers
• Vegetable peelers
• Wood glue
• Wooden pencils
• Screwdriver sets
• Wood clamps
• Duct tape
• Assorted screws
• Hammers
• Measuring tapes
• Lumber (2x4s, cedar, plywood, etc.)
• Food-grade maple syrup buckets
• Paper cups and paper plates
• Popsicle sticks
• Water testing pH strips
• Clear cups
• Glass jars with lids

Monetary donations are also gratefully accepted and will be used to purchase supplies and materials that support student learning experiences.

Donations can be dropped off during today's Parent Council Family BBQ from 4:00–6:00 PM or at the school office at a later date.

Parent Council Family BBQ – Rain or Shine!

The forecast may be uncertain, but one thing isn't—we're still on and ready to celebrate an amazing school year together!

A few reminders:
• Bring a lawn chair or blanket
• Food service begins at 4:00 PM
• Please head to the BBQ station when you're ready for food

Popcorn, freezies, and Grand View Jibbitz will also be available for purchase.

Dear Parents, Grand View is seeking group photos of graduates from 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. If you or someone you know has such a photo, please contact us to help complete our Grad wall. Thank you.

We are excited to invite you to our 2nd Annual Family Appreciation BBQ as a thank you for your continued support of Grand View Public School. Your generosity, volunteerism, and participation throughout the year help make our school community such a special place.

🕓 Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
📍 Location: Grand View Public School

Important Arrival Information:
Regular student dismissal is at 3:30 PM, and school supervision will not be available between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. All students must leave the school at dismissal and return with a parent/guardian at 4:00 PM to attend the BBQ.

To help us prepare, please let us know how many hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs your family would like. The BBQ is free of charge to families and is being provided by your School Council.

We would also greatly appreciate any additional help—if you are available to volunteer and support our amazing School Council, please consider lending a hand. Your support makes events like this possible!

Wear your Grand View colours and show your Hawk spirit!
