It’s time to meet the candidates running in the Shingwauk Anishinaabe Students’ Association (SASA) By-Election for the Communications Coordinator Executive Position!

The Algoma District School Board warmly invites community members to a special presentation with James Vukelich Kaagegaabaw, an internationally recognized Ojibwe author, speaker, digital creator, and Indigenous language advocate.

James is the author of The Seven Generations and the Seven Grandfather Teachings and has dedicated his life to preserving and sharing Indigenous language, culture, and teachings. Drawing from years of learning alongside Elders and Native language speakers across North America, he will share powerful insights on living a good life (mino-bimaadiziwin) and the importance of Indigenous knowledge and language revitalization.
