Friday's 'Woodland Wilderness' Paint Night at the Sault Ste. Marie Museum was a blast! Thanks to everyone in attendance and to the staff and bartender for all their help in making this an evening of fun and creativity! Algoma Art Academy is headin' State Side again! WooHoo!

Calling tweens & teens ages 11-18 who are interested in cartooning! Bayliss is excited to welcome Maureen Shelleau, a former Disney animator who currently runs Algoma Art Academy in Sault, Ontario, to teach animation and cartooning techniques. This program has limited spaces, please register by visiting or calling the library. If you register and find yourself unable to attend, please notify the library so the space can be opened up.

Hey Kids! Kick off your March break with exciting art classes at Algoma Art Academy! No membership required! Professional and fun instruction on Painting, Drawing, Pastel, Cartooning, Animation Techniques, Sculpture and more with your Disney Artist and Animator Teacher! Come for one day, a couple of days or every day! Classes are held from 10 am to 12 noon from Monday March 10 to Friday March 14! The cost is only $35 per student per day and that includes supplies! We are so excited to welcome Algoma Art Academy to SAAC! Maureen will be teaching Painting with Pastel where she will guide you through different techniques and approaches to create your own unique, pastel painting. Maureen will provide reference images or you may bring your own! BEGINNERS WELCOME!
