Looking for a school that feels like a community and offers amazing learning opportunities for your child? Come check us out!
Why families love our school:
• A small school with the programs and opportunities of larger schools
• Every staff member knows every student
• 100% French Immersion - learning in French happens all day, every day (in classrooms, morning announcements, and even hallway conversations)
• Parents do NOT need to know French to support their child
• School bus service for River Heights, Lawson Heights, Caswell, Mayfair, Richmond Heights, City Park, and downtown
And according to our Kindergarten students:
“It is the best school ever!”

This year, our St. Paul School community is continuing to learn and grow together on our journey of reconciliation.
We spent a beautiful day at Wanuskewin Heritage Park last week, deepening our understanding of the land and its history. Thank you to our CSCC for paying for the buses. We also came together for Orange Shirt Day, walking as a school to honour survivors, their families, and the ongoing work of reconciliation, led by Mme Nordick and her Grade 7/8 students.
Please note: There is no school for students tomorrow in recognition of Truth and Reconciliation Day.

We are back in the thick of it now! Welcome Week was a busy and fun-filled week. We kicked off the year with spirit days, school-wide Bingo, a well-attended Meet the Families Evening (thank you!) and our opening Mass with Father Greg.
Our new playground addition was even delivered, installed, and available for recess fun. Get your social media consent forms in so we can post even more pictures!
Wishing everyone a great school year ahead.

Thank you to our Grade 7/8 students for serving and leading us in reflection and prayer at our Poverty Meal. We collected about $500 to go towards The Bridge!
It was special to tie this Lenten experience to virtues we have been talking about all year: "Respect for those who are struggling, Courage to do something about it, Humility to recognize how blessed we are, And Love by caring for others as Jesus taught us."

Our Grade 1s sounded great in sound check and sounded even better during our liturgy of the first Sunday of Lent. Bravo, première année.

Congratulations to our Basket Raffle winners!! We had so much fun with this fundraiser - picking the themes, looking at all the donated prizes, and putting tickets in the bins. Thank you to the CSCC and Mme Nordick for organizing and thank you to our school community for your support. We raised over $800 for our school.

Last week was French Immersion Week in our school. It served as a great reminder to celebrate teaching and learning in another language. It was highlighted by our Carnaval d'hiver with a special appearance by Bonhomme Carnaval!

February is Black History Month, a time to honour and celebrate the history, culture, and achievements of Black Canadians. We are thankful for CSCC contributions and community donations which help us build our library and classroom resources to support diversity and inclusion.
As the month unfolds, we plan to continue celebrating the gifts of one another and learning from Black history, expertise and experiences.
