Bedford Road Collegiate 1980 through 1985 Friends Welcome

True friendships never end, they only wait for another day to catch up. There are many I think about, some I care for, few that I love.

There are friends that I know, all I have to do is think about them and things are a bit better. This page is for those that want to catch up and remember the old days. Anyone from ED Feehan, Mount Royal, City Park, Mariam Graham are welcome to join and talk as long as you had friends at Bedford during this period.

Dear Bedford Road Alumnus,
Greetings & hello to all Bedford Road Alumni! The “good old red & white” is alive and well (95 years and going strong).

The purpose of this letter is to inform you of a new alumni initiative. The reason behind this initiative is to quite simply "top up" the current Bedford Alumni Scholarship fund. The primary purpose of this alumni account has been to award scholarship funds to a deserving Bedford Road graduate(s) each year. We also fund projects at the school that honour our alumni and keep the history of our school alive.

This alumni scholarship program has been in place for over 35 years with funds of $1000 to $2000 awarded each year to deserving students. Over the years, this fund has been enriched by surplus monies that have been raised by major BRCI reunions (primarily in 1982 and 1998). These funds are almost gone.

Our new initiative will be the Bedford Road Alumni Fund with donations of $10, $25 or an amount of your choice. Please choose your method of payment below (Cheque or Credit Card). You will notice that we have partnered with the Saskatoon Public Schools Foundation. We are using their capabilities to process your donations, which will then flow through to an account managed by BRCI Alumni. And, as an added bonus, the Foundation will give you a tax receipt for donations over $20.

We are in the process of collecting email addresses and getting the word out about the campaign on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We got a good start on the email collection last January at BRIT 50, which was a terrific success. We’d love for this list to grow. Please send an email to [email protected] with names and email addresses of folks that are proud Bedford alumni.

Thanks for your help as we move forward with this ambitious campaign.

Respectfully yours,
