What a beautiful afternoon of art, music, and community at our City Park Art Show & Live Concert! Thank you to all the families and friends who came to celebrate the children’s creativity and support their hard work. Seeing everyone enjoy the artwork and performances together made the event truly special.

From colorful paintings and imaginative creations to joyful songs and performances, the children filled the school with so much energy, confidence, and creativity. We are so proud of each child for sharing a little piece of themselves with us today. 🌟

A heartfelt thank you to all the families who came to support our Art Show at Hanselman today. Your presence, encouragement, and generous donations toward the children’s artwork truly meant so much to our school community.

We are incredibly grateful to our amazing staff for working alongside the children to help bring these creative masterpieces to life. Thank you to our talented little artists for sharing your imagination, creativity, and joy through every piece of art displayed. 🌈🖌️

A special thank you as well to all of our wonderful volunteers who helped prepare and organize this event. Your time and support made this celebration possible!

Our City Park location will also host their Art Show & Live Concert next Tuesday, May 12th — a wonderful celebration filled with art, and music! 🎶🎨

Our students have been busy preparing for the upcoming Art Show. Miss Jen, together with students from all classes, has created a collection of group artworks inspired by the style of Wassily Kandinsky, as well as by nature, Indigenous culture, and the beautiful landscape of our city.

MMS celebrated World Down Syndrome Day with our “Lots of Socks” day! 🧦💙

At City Park, we came together to learn more about Down syndrome through stories and meaningful conversations. Students and staff showed their support by wearing silly, mismatched, and unique socks—each pair a fun reminder that our differences make our community stronger.

At Hanselman, we designed colorful sock templates to decorate our hallways and took part in a tie-dye activity. Using bright, vibrant colours, we dyed our socks, and after washing them, the colours blended together. The result was something new and beautiful—just like our children, who come together each day to learn from and care for one another.

Our staff and students support each other, grow together, and help make our school a welcoming place for all. 💙
