The Grade 2/3 class created stunning Indigenous‑inspired artwork. The vibrant colours and spirit animal silhouettes have brightened our hallway.

Here is a glimpse of two bulletin boards that are bringing a burst of creativity, confidence and joy to our school.
When I look in the mirror, I like what I see!
This board invites students to pause and recognize the many wonderful qualities they bring to our school. Brave, kind, creative, thoughtful and so much more. Every student has something special to offer.

Exploring Colours in Pre‑K
Just down the hall, our youngest learners have been discovering the magic of colours! Their collaborative colour wheel and hands‑on paint explorations show how much learning happens through play, curiosity and messy fun.

We like to extend a big THANK YOU to Saskatoon Co-op for their generous $300 donation to our Grade 7/8 Hot Dog Fundraiser.
The event was a huge success. Their support is helping our students get to their year‑end camp trip.

We wrapped up Family Literacy Week last week by dressing as our favourite book characters.
From classic heroes to whimsical storybook icons, our staff and students brought beloved characters to life with creativity and enthusiasm.
Captured in the photos are some of our staff celebrating the joy of reading.

It was an exciting week of reading and spirited competition. Each day, two books went head‑to‑head in our Tournament of Books and our students voted on which title would move on to the next round.
This year’s winning title is The Book with No Pictures by B.J. Novak!

Thanks to our last 2 Literacy week guests! On Thursday Our School division's Religious Education Coordinator Ms. Darcie came and read us two Robert Munsch books. We share Everything and Mortimer! We loved her!!

On Friday our School board trustee, Mrs. Michelle Christopher came and read to us Max Lucado's book You are Special and another beautiful book based on the Parable of the Lost sheep and Psalm 23 by Hannah E. Harrison called The Good Shepherd and the Stubborn Sheep. She reminded us of God's immense love for us and how Jesus is our Good Shepherd and will never abandon us.

Happy Family Literacy Week! 📚
January 25–31, 2026

Our school is celebrating the joy of reading, storytelling, and learning together. One of the highlights this week is our Family Literacy Bingo! Students have Bingo cards and are completing fun literacy activities with their families. Everything from reading under a blanket with a flashlight to making a recipe, telling jokes, acting out stories and visiting the library.

These small moments build big connections and it’s been wonderful to see families embracing literacy in creative, meaningful ways.

Students that complete 5 activities in a row will be entered to win a McNally Robinson gift card.
