Just weeks after receiving the College of Arts and Science's Distinguished Scholar Award, Professor of English Wendy Roy has been presented with USask's top research award.
Roy is a leading scholar in the areas of speculative fiction, women’s writing, and relations of power in Canadian literature.

Congratulations to Marcia Little, an Indigenous student and single parent, who graduated at yesterday's Spring Convocation!
“Attending university has aided me in rewriting and reframing my stories of trauma and embracing my healing journey. There was a lot to unpack, and I wrote about these experiences in my papers throughout the years,” she said. “That’s what kept me going. I was like, ‘Well, someone has to do it and be that cycle breaker in ending intergenerational trauma.’”
Marcia crossed the stage to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology (with distinction) and a minor in studio arts.
