Thanks to everyone who made it to the mini recital tonight! There were the usual performances, then we played a bit of Musical Anomia and the Key Signature Game (played similar to Dutch Blitz). Students also got a chance to see how our foodbank practicing challenge is going! We're only partway through week one, and you can see the food we've raised so far down in the corner!

We're working on a music map! Students are learning where composers and folk tunes come from this year! We're excited to see how many countries we can visit this year!

For our last recital of the year, students got to take part in a One-Shot time travel heist! We visited the secret time travel manor of Nannerl Mozart, and help solved the mystery of which composer was stealing all the most important pieces from music history!
Thanks to everyone who turned up, it was great to get to try out this new game! Who will be the villain next time? Only time will tell!

We've finished up our World Wildlife Foundation practicing challenge! Contrats to students for raising $125 dollars for the World Wildlife Foundation! Students were able to vote on what animal to donate our money to, and the Blue-footed b***y received the most votes, so we donated to them! Nice work, everyone!

Since we'd done a big studio election in the fall, the studio ran a leadership race in the Romantic party to decide who would continue leading the party going forwards!
Beethoven, the incumbent, has won two of the last 3 elections for the Romantic part, and so it is no surprise that voters were happy with the job he's been doing and he was voted in again with 57% of the vote!
Voter turnout in the studio was also very high, 96% of eligible voters cast a vote this month!

Thanks to everyone who made it to the mini-recital tonight! After the performances, we played a game of "guess the Tune: melodic manipulation edition" where students tried to guess the name of a tune when played backwards, upside-down, or backwards and upside-down. We also played a game of Screamin' Match and a few songs on the step bells! A lot of fun activities packed into our mini-recital tonight!
