After Easter we learned about birds and nests, and the number 1. It was a week off of school for the big kids, so our days were a bit different. The little ones enjoyed having them here!

Nana has operated a dayhome in Calgary and Chestermere Alberta before moving to Saskatoon Saskatchewan. Her dayhome is smoke and pet free! The week before Easter we experimented with rocket chicks, which didn’t quite work, and the bouncy egg, which worked very well! The kids learned about the number zero, bunnies, eggs and chicks and all good things Easter!

Our last two weeks has been full of rainbows, spring, weather and puddle jumping!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day ☘️. The kids spent last week learning about leprechauns, shamrocks and pots of gold. Yesterday we set a trap, but unfortunately instead of a leprechaun, all we found this morning was a mess 😂

Last week we celebrated Dr. Seuss week with themed crafts, activities and snacks. The kids enjoyed the silly stories and themed dress up days!

February brought learning about pets with both a pet store and a veterinary clinic. We also learned about Valentines Day, with a post office, and Dental Health.

Lots of fun was had learning about polar animals in January!

January went by quickly, filled with learning about the new year, new month and more! We explored polar animals, pets, and some more letters of the alphabet.

Groundhog Day was February 2nd, and the kiddos loved learning about shadows, making groundhog crowns, and gobbling up the groundhog popping its head out of the hole in the snow!

Happy New Year!! We welcomed 2026 yesterday at 12:00 noon, with party hats, noisemakers, sparkling apple pear juice and a dance party.
