Research project supported by Sask Sport

Purpose:
This study has two objectives: the first is to examine the relationships among biological maturity status, age, physical size, and success at being selected into male and female youth Canadian provincial team try-outs. The second objective is to examine the influence of growth and maturation on success at team try-outs on long term (2-3 years) par

ticipation in sports. For this objective the participants will be asked some questions about the sports they participate in and also their enjoyment and experience in the sport.
