Thank you to the Saskatchewan Blue Cross for selecting SWITCH as one of their grant recipients for their "80 Years, 80 Grants" initiative!
SWITCH Programming Coordinator Mikka and Board Chair Patrick attended the Saskatchewan Blue Cross 80th Anniversary Celebration on May 27th in Saskatoon. 80 years is a tremendous achievement, and we thank the Saskatchewan Blue Cross for awarding SWITCH a grant and for their contributions to health services and access in our province.

Today is Red Dress Day. A day that holds immense weight for me personally as an Indigenous woman, and for our entire team here at SWITCH.
The red dresses you see hanging across Saskatoon are not just symbols, they are a call to remember our sisters, daughters, mothers, and 2SLGBTQI+ kin whose voices were stolen. For those of us providing care in the core neighbourhoods, we know that wellness cannot exist without justice and safety.
At SWITCH, we are more than a clinic. We are a space for healing, advocacy, and culturally safe care. Today we wear red to honour the spirits of the MMIWG2S and to reaffirm our promise: You are seen. You are valued. You are never forgotten.
Thank you to everyone for acknowledging this day with us.

Today, we honour Red Dress Day and stand in remembrance of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people.
Each red dress is a powerful symbol of lives taken too soon and voices that must never be forgotten. We recognize the ongoing impact of colonial violence and commit to listening, learning, and taking action toward justice, safety, and respect for Indigenous communities.
We wear red to remember. We speak up to create change. ❤️
