St. Luke's Safe SHIP

Hey St. Luke! The SafeShip nursing team will be in the school tomorrow and Tuesday! We are so excited for tomorrow’s Ya Ya’s theme! Can’t wait to see you all this week!

Hey St. Luke! Today the SafeShip nursing team wore pink shirts since pink shirt day is Feb 26th, that promotes awareness of bullying! We also updated our bulletin board on ways we can lift eachother up and be nice to one another💗

This week at St. Luke, the SafeShip nurses celebrated Black Futures Month! We took part in a school-wide activity where we decorated hands with colorful words of diversity, each featuring the message “we all belong.” Wishing everyone a wonderful remainder of the week and a relaxing February break! We’ll see you all back at school after the break!

Ya Ya’s join us on Monday during lunch for Just Dance!! 💃🏼 We can’t wait to see you there!

Yesterday we changed our bulletin board to provide some education on ways to prevent the spread of germs! We also spent our afternoon at BJM high school with their SafeShip nursing group, as well as North Park Wilson Elementary group! We had a taco lunch and shared some key topics we can use in community health nursing!!! We will be back in St. Luke next Monday!! Have a great week!!!

Today the SafeSHIP nursing team engaged in . If you have never heard of , it is a day we can use to challenge the stigma around mental health and brings meaningful action to improve mental health across the country! Today we posted positive mental health affirmations around the school!
