Looking for speech, language, social, and literacy support for your child this summer?

Our camps are here for you!
We have 2️⃣ weeks of camps this year
Half day programs for 5 days from July 8-12 and August 12-16 for 15 hours of intentional, therapeutic, play-based activities.

Registration is NOW OPEN with limited spots available for each camp.

Camps are led by a Registered Speech Language Pathologist.

⭐️A detailed receipt will be provided at the end of the week that can be submitted to most insurance companies for reimbursement.

Camps are also eligible for funding through the Saskatchewan Autism Spectrum Disorder Individualized Funding registry.

CALGARY! We received requests for our groups/camps and now HERE THEY ARE!

We are offering TWO programs this summer led by our amazing SLP, Breanna.

Here are the details you need to know:
• 5 week programs — You must commit to at least 4/5 weeks of the program
• Runs Mondays from July 17 to August 21 (No session August 7)
• @ Peak Kids (Unit 208, 7337 Macleod Trail SW)
• $80/session — This can be submitted to most insurance plans for reimbursement!

Phonemic awareness creates the building blocks for spelling and word recognition skills.

Students at risk for reading difficulty often have lower levels of phonemic awareness than their peers.

Phonemic awareness includes the following skills:
🗣️Phoneme Isolation — identifying sounds in a spoken word.
🗣️Blending — combining the isolated sounds into words.
🗣️Segmenting — dividing a spoken word into individual sounds.
🗣️Phoneme addition — adding a sound to a given word to create a new word
🗣️Phoneme deletion — omitting a sound from a given word to create a new word.
🗣️Phoneme substitution — changing a sound to a new sound to create a new spoken word.
