Edwards School of Business JDC West Team In the competition there are academics, sport, social, and debate competitions.

JDC West is a business competition held every year at a university in Western Canada that brings together 600 of the best business students from 11 schools throughout the West. The next JDC West competition will be held in Saskatoon, SK in January 2023! Currently the Edwards JDC West team has recruited all of our academic case teams and Debate team. Our Challenger team and Sport team will be recru

ited this September! The academic portion consists of case competitions in ten different business areas:
- Accounting
- Business Strategy
- Entrepreneurship
- Finance
- Human Resources
- International Business
- Marketing
- Not-for-Profit
- Operations Management

What is a fun fact about you? “I played Junior A hockey and have a provincial record in track and field.”

What has been your highlight with Sasky this year? “Weekly practices are always a blast! We play music and and get really competitive. I love it! “

What aspect of comp are you most excited for? “I’m excited to see everyone’s hard work pay off at comp!”
What has been your highlight with Sasky this year? “My team practices! I’m always learning something new in the debate room and it’s been super fun!”

What is a fun fact about you? “I grew up on a farm.”

What aspect of comp are you most excited for? “Seeing what all of our hard work can bring us, and spending time with my team.”
What has been your highlight with Sasky this year? “Improving my public speaking, and spending time with Brayden.”
What is a fun fact about you? “I eat a farmers wrap from Tim’s average 5x a week.”

Brayden Arnott (he/him)

What aspect of comp are you most excited for? “I’m looking forward to meeting the other teams and having some competitive discussions, because for goodness sakes, how could I not be excited about meeting some fellow yappers.”
What has been your highlight with Sasky this year? “Prairie Games as per usual is an awesome opportunity to bond and develop within your own team, and then meet some of the other debaters, so I really enjoyed that weekend.”
What is a fun fact about you? “My life consists of an ever increasing number of extra-curriculars (this is fun for me). When I’m not busy courteously arguing with the other Sasky debaters on issues above my pay grade, you can find me doing my presidential duties on the Accounting Club of Edwards (ACE), attempting some nasty nasty moves on a volleyball court or a dance floor, or socializing with a group of friends.”
