We are all in for beach day!

Mrs. Funk took the grade 8 class to the University of Saskatchewan this week! They learned about the voyager space probe from the 1970’s and the ‘golden records’ that were sent into space. Then they had a chance to visit the observatory on campus.

It’s a beautiful day to have a bike rodeo. We are learning bike safety and improving our biking skills.

We had a wonderful time at the grade 8 retreat at the beginning of the month. We spent time exploring God’s creation, trying new things, overcoming fears, bonding as a group, and growing in our faith. Please pray for this amazing group of young people as they finish out their last year of elementary school.

Wheel day for Art 20/30 🙌

Messy hands, muddy clothes, and so much learning. The wheel doesn’t always do what we want, and honestly, neither do we sometimes. Clay has a way of reminding us that growth takes patience, persistence, and a willingness to try again.

Some pieces wobbled, some collapsed, some turned out beautifully… but every single one taught something.

And the best part? You can always re-center and start again. 🤍

What an amazing time we had over the last two days at Poundmaker, Moosomin, and Saulteaux reserves. 243 Bibles handed out at 5 reserves and 211 New Testaments. The number is actually higher but we didn’t keep track at the first reserve.
