This week's Across Disciplines seminar will be presented by Prof Richard Curry from the Photon Science Institute at the University of Manchester, UK. Professor Curry will present a seminar title: A SIMPLE route to quantum technologies.

The SSSC Discovery series "Solid State NMR" workshop will be presented on Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 9:30 until 12:00 in the SSSC boardroom. There is still room for a few more participants. If you are interested, please email [email protected].

We now have the Shutter program running on all of our manually operated nmr spectrometers. The program will allow the user to set a countdown time and have the computer automatically log off. Very useful for overnight experiments that finish in the middle of the night. See the instructions in the Shutter folder in each nmr lab.
