Ken Mayhew believed deeply in the power of community, mentorship and ensuring people felt like they belonged.
Today, we are honoured to announce the launch of The Ken Mayhew Belonging Fund through the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy – Canada.
This Fund will provide access bursaries for fundraising professionals across Canada who may not otherwise have the financial means to participate in AFP leadership events, conferences and community-building opportunities.
Ken spent his life opening doors, bringing people together and making others feel seen and valued. Through this Fund, his legacy will continue to create pathways for connection, learning and belonging for generations to come.
As our AFP community spans both Canada and the United States, we have created two giving options for supporters. Gifts made through either Foundation will support bursaries for fundraising professionals in Canada in Ken’s honour.
