Thank you everyone for coming out to see Vetavision 2024!!!
We hope everyone had a blast seeing all the different demos and booths. We wanted to take this opportunity to also thank all of our students for their hard work organizing and running this event - check out these photos of our students having fun welcoming everyone through our doors.

VETAVISION DAY 2 IS ON!
Our amazing animals at Vetavision are patiently waiting for you to arrive. Come out and see everything (and everyone) Vetavision has to offer from 9am-9pm today.

Highlights from a great first day of Vetavision!
Didn’t get a chance to visit today? No worries! Vetavision is open from 9:00am-9:00pm tomorrow (Saturday Sept 21). This is your chance to see what goes on behind the scenes in veterinary medicine. You don’t want to miss this event!

🐄 DAIRY TOURS
Vetavision is excited to offer tours of the campus dairy barn! Explore the “cow walk” where you get a Birds Eye view of our dairy operation. Tours will be running hourly tomorrow from 10:00am-4:00pm. Head to the tours booth on the second floor at the front entrance of college to join in on learning more about our dairy cattle! No advanced registration required and it’s free with Vetavision admission.

TODAY IS THE DAY!

The Western College of Veterinary Medicine will open it’s doors at 9 am this morning and we are inviting everyone to have an inside peek at the veterinarian profession! Check out Disney’s visit when he got an early look at this event!

Vetavision is an open house style event, featuring 26 student-run booths and special event demonstration running 9am-9pm this Friday and Saturday. Take a deep dive into medicine, and learn all about our profession as veterinarians- from large animals vets to small animal vets, radiologists, ophthalmologists, pathologists, rehabilitation experts, and much more!
We’d like to congratulate , the winner of our prize package giveaway. Don’t worry for those of you who missed out, we have a merchandise booth where you can purchase all sorts of cool items!

Check out this sneak peak of the bovine hoof trimming demo performed by WCVM’s Dr Chris Clark! This special event will run on Friday 5pm-6pm and Saturday 11am-12pm this year.
This procedure can be critical for upkeep of hoof health care and treating painful hoof conditions such as hoof abscesses. At the WCVM we have a special cow lift so animals can be safely restrained to allow for proper and effective treatment and allow for a successful recovery.
Bovine hoof trimming is only one of the special events offered at this year’s Vetavision. Check out our website or previous posts for more details on other things going on at Vetavision - starting tomorrow!
