The Diefenbaker Canada Centre (DCC) is a dynamic cultural, educational, and historical institution.
Customized tours at alternate times are available upon request for nonprofit and community groups.
Participate in one of our FREE historical walking tours of the scenic University of Saskatchewan campus, suitable for all ages. Tours run every Wednesday and Sunday in June, July and August, leaving the Diefenbaker Canada Centre at 1:00 p.m. In this 1 1/2 hour walking tour, your interpreter will highlight the University’s history, important achievements and unique architecture.
The Diefenbaker Canada Centre, University of Saskatchewan, and Whitecap Dakota First Nation invite you to celebrate National Aboriginal Day.
Existing to celebrate Canadian history, the museum preserves and interprets core collections representing the life and times of John G. Diefenbaker, presents national and international cultural exhibitions, and develops educational and public programs in keeping with the high academic standards of the University of Saskatchewan. Our particular themes are citizenship, leadership, and Canada’s role in the international community.
