Please welcome Greg Tootoosis, owner of ! ๐ŸŽ‰Greg has been chosen as one of our fellows in the Greg Yuel Fellowship. As a fellow, Greg will have access to a range of resources and support systems, mentorship, specialists, networking opportunities, and curated professional development sessions.

Greg is a Plains Cree artist and founder of 22sisDesigns, dedicated to sharing Indigenous culture through modern art and design.

He began his art journey in high school, but his professional path first led him into the world of information technology, where he continues to work today. His return to art came through a desire to reconnect with his culture โ€” learning, teaching, and expressing his Plains Cree heritage through his designs.

Each piece created blends traditional teachings, Cree language, and cultural symbolism with a contemporary visual style. Through his work, he aims to share the beauty and meaning of Cree words, values, and teachings with a broader audience while honouring the stories and wisdom of his culture.

From original artwork to creating his own reprints, cups, notebooks, his designs reflect both innovation and identity, bridging his knowledge in technology and learning, he creates his designs with deep respect for Indigenous knowledge and community.
