We have created this page to keep everyone informed and connect with parents in our school.

Bishop Pocock Community Council is made up of five to nine parent and community members. These individuals want to make a difference and are interested in approving education. The CSCC is intended to strengthen the school and improve our children's learning.

On Thursday, our CSCC rewarded our students with a treat to celebrate reaching our first fundraising goal in our Schools Win Twice fundraising campaign! Thank you, School Council.

We are thankful that our community continues to embrace the lottery and its benefits for our students.

As of today, the 50/50 jackpot has grown to $41,890, with the winner receiving half of that. The prizes are amazing and the chance of winning are very good.

Please continue to support our fundraising efforts. Best of luck to you!

Check out this awesome thermometer created for us by Jaclyn a member of our CSCC! It is going to help us track the success of our Schools Win Twice fundraiser. As we raise more money, our students will receive treats, a movie, pizza and a mystery prize as rewards.
The biggest reward will be the fun, safe and educational experiences our children will enjoy, because of this important fundraiser.

Sacramental Opportunities at Holy Spirit Parish

2021 INFANT BAPTISM

If you have a child under 7 and would like to baptize him/her we celebrate infant baptisms throughout the year.

Baptism Celebrations: Currently we are celebrating baptisms once a month in a group setting usually one Sunday a month at 1:30 pm.

Baptism Prep Sessions:

If you are new parents and/or have not taken any baptism prep sessions we request you attend the sessions. If you have attended a baptism preparation session in the past 2 years you may not need to take prep sessions before the baptism.

We are observing Earth Day one day early (Wednesday) because of the nicer weather. Our students and staff will be picking up any garbage on the school grounds and in the park. To be environmentally friendly, we are inviting (and encouraging) students to bring their own work gloves/mini-mitts/washable gloves from home. If this is not possible, disposable gloves will be provided.

Our Tiger virtue in April is Gratitude. How fitting!

As the Octave of Easter ends, so does the Easter break. Time to set those alarms for Monday morning.

Remember to do a daily health check and stay home if you're not feeling well. https://go.gscs.ca/dailyhealth
