We are beyond saddened to have to share with our community that Mme Deena Shyluk, our former vice principal, passed away last weekend after a medical emergency resulting from anaphylactic shock. 💔 The link to her obituary is below. Our utmost condolences go to her family at this time. She will be missed by many.

June is Pride Month at Saskatoon Public Schools. Tomorrow on Wednesday June 17th we invite and encourage all staff and students to wear their SPS Pride T-shirts or other symbols of Pride. This day provides an opportunity for us to come together in celebration of diversity and inclusion.

Tomorrow is our year-end family and class picnic! Subway is coming for those who ordered through Healthy Hunger, and as always you are welcome to bring your own lunch as well! The weather looks like it will cooperate with us, so we plan to have lunch outside on the playground and park starting at 11:55 a.m. with some visiting and playtime as well. Students will come back in for afternoon classes at 12:40 p.m.

Please remember to bring some lawn chairs and/or a blanket to sit on, as well as some bug spray and maybe sunscreen. We are looking forward to having all of our families come join us! See you then 😊

On our last PD Planning day of the year, we invited staff to get creative with our lunch potluck, and do storybook based charcuterie boards to share! Thanks to everyone who brought something and made this a fun lunch! Saskatoon Public Schools

Our year end band concert is happening today at 1:00 pm. We were hoping to have it outside today but do not want to take any chances with the weather. We will have it in our large gym this afternoon. Look forward to seeing you then! ☺️
